With beach season approaching finding the best beaches for families to go to can be hard. I have compiled a list of the BEST beaches along 30A for you. This list contains why these beaches are good for families, and positives and negatives of each. 30A is one of my favorite stretches of beaches in Florida. The coast is lined with silky white sand and emerald water.
The BEST Beaches Along 30A in Florida
You will find my families top beaches along 30A in this list. 30A is one of our favorite places to vacation. In fact, we just got back from there, and I’m already wanting to go back.
Every time I go I am amazed at the beauty of the water and the silky smooth sand. It is like no other place I have been. I have been to a lot of beaches and this stretch of land is my favorite.
Bike rentals are available up and down the coast. This is a great way to explore the towns and get exercise along the way. We love riding the coast and trying out new restaurants when we need a break.
Seaside Beach
Seaside is my most favorite beach along 30A. This beach town offers some of the best food and shopping around. Whatever your diet needs are, you can find them at Seaside. My kids said this is their favorite beach because of the sand literally feels like clouds. It is so white and fine. This beach can be very crowded because it is the most popular. You can find parking all around the beach, restaurants, and stores. They have bathrooms located throughout and a shower as you’re leaving the beach. Seaside is a little pricey, so be prepared to spend a little more at the shops, and on food.
Seagrove Beach
This beach offers a quiet yet fun filled time. You can find a beach house to rent for the week and walk to the beach. Seagrove beach town is full of great food and shopping. There is sidewalks for those that love to walk, run, or ride bikes. This beach offers plenty of parking, but I would get there early just in case. It also has clean bathrooms, and showers available. My kids loved this beach because they felt it was less busy than others.
Seacrest Beach
Most of the people in this town are on beach cruiser bikes or walking around. Seacrest is a perfect place for families to relax and enjoy the weather. The town features shopping, restaurants, and a connivence store. This beach is hidden so you will need to park in the town and walk down to the beautiful “hidden” beach.
Grayton Beach State Park
This beach is a favorite for locals and those that have been coming to 30A since they were young. This beach town offers local shops and delicious places to eat. Grayton State Park is located in this area, and you and your kids could search for wildlife or walk along the trails. You could also camp in this state park as well. If you’re looking for a small town feel, this beach town is it.
Rosemary Beach
Rosemary beach is full of beautiful sights and homes to see. This beach town offers a number of casual dining, large grassy area for playing, and shopping for all to enjoy. This town offers fun music venues on the grassy area. Parking is a little challenging because there is no designated parking lot for the beach, but there are a lot of different access points. Most people ride in on their beach cruiser bikes from their rental homes.
I just can’t say enough about each and everyone of these beaches. Once you visit this amazing stretch of land, you will find yourself wanting to go back just like my family does. My kids said the sand is so soft that they felt like they were playing in fluffy snow….except it was warm.
