Sometimes I can be really, really creative {you can see some of my creative Silhouette CAMEO projects here} and some days… well… not so much. Luckily the internet is a virtual ocean of creativity and if you know where to look you can really find some of the most amazing, jaw dropping, and insanely creative projects and ideas. When I have the itch to create I often browse my favorite blogs to get the creative juices flowing and get some inspiration for my next crafty projects.

Hi! I’ve been looking into purchasing a silhouette machine for crafting but I’m stuck on which one I need? I’m looking to be able to create my own designs/stencils. Do both allow that?
Kimber says
Yes both the Portrait and CAMEO allow you to cut materials. The biggest difference in my opinion is that the CAMEO allows you to cut larger materials than the portrait. I had an old Cricut a long time ago and the thing I got most frustrated with was having to cut down everything I used before I put it in the machine so being able to cut 12″ wide was a must for me! Make sure you use the promo code PINNING to get a discount when you buy!
