We have been talking a lot about light and healthy foods this summer and today is no exception with our Greek Dip. I am so glad to get this on the blog because every time I make it I am asked for the recipe and now I can just send them here!
It seems that I do pretty well providing healthy meals for my family but when I am entertaining, ALL of my favorite appies are filled with mayo, sour cream or cream cheese. And while I love some rich creamy spinach dip (and I have the best recipe of all time!) sometimes you just want to serve something a little lighter (or that you can consume ridiculous amounts of with out feeling terribly guilty.)
This Greek Dip is pretty much perfect in my book! It is light and healthy and tastes crazy good. As a matter of fact my husband doesn’t even like tomatoes, feta, or capers and yet he will gobble up this dip like no one’s business! It is kinda like salsa, when the flavors come together it is like magic and even people who don’t like tomatoes love it. Maybe I should call it Greek Salsa or Greek Bruschetta!
It is so incredibly simple to make! All you need to do is chop the tomatoes, green onions, and artichokes. Then combine with the capers and feta, sprinkle with the Cavender’s Greek Seasoning and drizzle with olive oil. Give it a good mix and you are ready to eat!
We usually serve this dip with a nice baguette sliced, but any good crusty bread will do. I also use pita chips or even tortilla chips in a pinch.
I hope you love our Greek Party Dip as much as we do! To see all the healthy and not so healthy appetizers we love make sure and follow us on Pinterest! Also, like The Pinning Mama on Facebook to get access to FB fan only exclusive freebies!

Can I make this the night before I will be serving it?

Yes you can! It only gets better. Also, I will save leftovers and put them on baguette slices and broil in the oven. It makes a fabulous lunch!

I love this dip! I have made it several times now. I like to spread a layer of hummus on the bottom of a glass dish, and pour the dip on top. It’s outstanding!
