When searching for movies on Netflix I find it very challenging if I’m searching for a broad topic like Halloween.  I’ve done the work for all of you and compiled a list of kid friendly Netflix movies.  My kids have already started going through the list and watching them on our family movie nights.  They are excited every time we sit down for a movie.

Halloween Movies on Netflix for Kids

• The Addams Family–  Talk about an old classic, this movie will keep the whole family laughing.  A man named Fester who is the missing brother of Gomez Addams shows up at the door of The Addams family, are they thrilled…? You will have to watch this comedy. This show is rated PG-13, so it might be better suited for older kids.   The Addams Family is a Fantasy Comedy film.
• Room on the Broom–  This is a great short film based on a children’s book. In this story animals find “room on the Broom” of a generous witch, but her cat is not so sure of her new pals.
• Hotel Transylvania 2–  Mavis weds  Jonathon, and shortly after they have little son Dennis.  Dracula is convinced this little guy is a vampire and tries to prove it.  Hotel Transylvania 2 is a Fantasy Action film.
• Casper’s Scare School-Join Casper on his journey to Scare School to get in touch with his “spooky” side.  Casper the friendly ghost has a tough challenge ahead of him.
• The Little Ghost–  This little Ghost has never seen the sunrise.  He awakens only for one hour after the clock strikes midnight.  Follow this little guy on his journey to finally see the Sunrise.  The Little Ghost is a Family Fantasy film.
• Corpse Bride–  Victor is sucked into the underworld by a corpse bride who desires him, just before he was about to be married.  Corpse Bride is a Fantasy Romance Tim Burton film.
• A Monster in Paris–  An eccentric scientist, a monkey and a singer join forces to help a misunderstood Monster.  A Monster in Paris is a Fantasy Adventure film.
• Thunder and The House of Magic–  An abandoned cat stumbles upon an illusionist/magician’s  house.  The cat joins forces with all the house guests to save the house from being sold while the magician is in the hospital.  The House of Magic is a Fantasy Adventure film.
• Curious George: A Halloween Boo Fest–  Follow George on his spooktacular adventure. This is a fun filled adventure for all ages. A Halloween Boo Fest is a Family Animation film.
• Vampire Dog–  A 600yr old vampire dog and a boy while facing their fears discover they can anything.  Vampire Dog is a Comedy Family film.
• Dear Dracula–  Dracula receives a fan letter from a young monster, and he decides to visit him.  Does his visit go well?  Dear Dracula is a Family Animation film.
