With school ending I’m feeling the rush of “what are we going to do all summer?” Look no further, I’ve created a bucket list for your family to enjoy throughout the summer. This bucket list will help alleviate boredom from your kids. When they ask what they can do or tell you they are bored… send them to the bucket list. My kids can’t wait to pull a activity out of the jar when it is their turn.
A few fun ideas to do with these lists are copy all of the ideas onto a paper, cut them up and place in a jar. Each time your kids are bored or looking for something to do they could choose a paper out of the jar. You could also put the ideas on popsicle sticks in a jar. Another idea would be to place the activities on a chart, hang it up, and place a sticker next to each activity you have checked off. I warned my kids that we would not be able to get everything on our list but we would try to accomplish as much as we could. Having activities to do helps force us to spend time as a family, which is always a huge bonus.
