{diy} Personalized Wine Glasses

Some might think I’m from the South because of my love of all things personalized, but nope, I’m not! I”m just a girl that likes some good ole personalized items…monograms, names, cute sayings etc. You name it, I like it! When the opportunity arose to sample some permanent markers from The Write Dudes, I had a good 15 things I wanted to do, but I knew I had to narrow it down. Remember our post for DIY party decor?  The markers worked so well then and I just knew I wanted to use them for a party of my own. You know what we like at parties? Wine…..you can probably guess what I decided to personalize, huh? WINE GLASSES! How annoying are wine charms? I have some adorable ones, but half the time  I can’t even remember what wine charm I chose. Then I end up getting a new glass anyways or sitting with no drink and a sadsie face. No one wants to see that face!

Why not just write someones name directly on the glass with the fancy, permanent  markers from The Write Dudes? I tried to get creative with some of mine instead of just writing the obvious name down. It makes it more fun! To do this project you will need:

• The Write Dudes Infinity Permanent Markers
• Printed words
• Scissors
• Tape
• Wine glasses or regular drinking glasses

Cut out your word and tape it to the INSIDE of the wine glass. Then trace the word with one of your permanent markers.

Remove your paper and color in your letters. 

And your final product is adorable! From holiday parties to a dinner get together, everyone will love these glasses! I love these markers. They write smoothly which I really appreciated. Another thing that’s great it is that the flow of ink is constant. No shaking of the pen is necessary!

I did a few more personalized glasses. Everyone loved them! I love adding personal touches to parties. It really shows how much you care.

The possibilities are endless!

I have always wanted a sippy cup for myself….now I have one. hehe

And don’t forget that these aren’t limited to just wine glasses. You can do this to virtually ANY glass item you have in your house! The other awesome thing about these personalized markers from the Write Dudes  is the ink washes right off when you wash them with soap and water, so you can change them up with every event you have whether it’s a night home with your friend or a bigger gathering during the holidays.
