Hi Everyone! I’m Brandie Valenzuela from HomeCookingMemories.com, a food blog that shares easy recipes for memorable meals! Today I’m guest posting here at The Pinning Mama with one of my most favorite party printables: cute ice cream cone wrappers.

Whether you are having a casual get-together, a party, or want to make dessert night more fun, these ice cream cone wrappers are an easy way to do it. I’ve created two different colors of polka dot ice cream cone wrappers: aqua and pink. You are welcome to download both (they coordinate nicely) or pick the color you like best. I’ve also included 2 printable ice cream wrappers per 1 sheet of paper. Why? An ice cream cone tastes even better when enjoyed with friends and family, so there is no need for just 1 wrapper!

I recommend printing your ice cream cone wrappers on either white cardstock or white copy paper. My preference is for card stock because it is more durable and makes for a nicer looking wrapper. However, copy paper is the easiest to wrap around and secure on the cone. The choice is yours, but if you are printing for a party, I would probably go with the cardstock. If you are printing for a fun ice cream night with the family, opting for copy paper might be easier.

After cutting out your wrapper, you are ready to add it to your sugar cones. For securing the wrapper on the cone, you can easier use a glue stick, scrapbook adhesive, or my personal favorite: clear tape! I’ve used all of these things, but tape is just so easy and if you buy a good quality clear tape (I like Scotch Magic Tape or Scotch Gift Wrap Tape), your ice-cream-cone-eater won’t think a thing of it.

PARTY TIP: if you are creating several ice cream cones for a party, use just one cone for “wrapping” and securing each wrapper you need. Do this by wrapping it around the cone and secure with adhesive or tape (be sure that you don’t get any on the cone!) and then sliding off the wrapper. Continue creating more shaped ice cream cones with the rest of the wrappers. By doing this, you avoid the risk of breaking multiple ice cream cones. After you’ve created all your wrappers, you can slide them onto the rest of the cones.

Want a different color or pattern? I have two options for you!

Option #1: Print the free printable offer on this post, cut out one or both of the wrappers and lay it on a piece of scrapbook paper (or any other paper you like) and trace the pattern. Cut it out and voila! You have a custom ice cream cone wrapper. We’ve even used this method to create ice cream cone wrappers out of a poster as you see in the image above!

Option #2: If you use Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, I also offer a FREE DIY Ice Cream Cone Wrapper Template for Photoshop or PSE users that you can use to create your own wrapper — great option if you have digital scrapbooking papers or feel comfortable designing your own wrappers.
