What happens when you take a yummy bite-sized snickers bar and combine it our World Famous Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies that have been pinned over 40K times?! You get the ULTIMATE game day treat!
Whether you are tailgating at the stadium or camping out in front of the big game in your living room, its all about the food (second to the football, of course!) The game is great but the experience is all about hanging out with your friends, the adrenaline of cheering on your team, and the munchies that fuel you through the game.
The recipe we are sharing today is the perfect dessert to balance the salty snacks and is so good the cookies MIGHT be more memorable than the outcome of the game. {Blasphemy, I know!}
To start, go grab our Panera Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe here. Then make sure you have plenty of Snicker’s Bites on hand. They are all of the yummy goodness of a Snicker’s candy bar, in a tiny package! They work perfectly in this recipe since they aren’t individually wrapped and sized just right for the center of a cookie!
Now the BEST part! Mars has provided a FABULOUS coupon for The Pinning Mama readers! By clicking the picture below you will be taken to a fab coupon, which if shared socially on Twitter or Facebook or emailed to 3 people the value of the coupon will double! Since I bought my 2.83 oz package at Walmart for $1, I have to imagine you are getting a sweet treat for practically free! Extreme couponer’s ears everywhere just perked up I think!
Now back to the deliciousness!
To make the Ultimate Snickers Stuffed Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies start by making the cookie dough as directed in the recipe.
After the dough is mixed, use an 1/8 C measure to scoop out your dough. Roll your dough into a ball and flatten into a circle.
Next, take two of your Snicker’s Bites and put them in the middle of your flattened dough. Roll the dough up around the edges and completely over the top, enclosing the Snicker’s Bites in the dough. Make sure all the cracks are sealed by rolling it into a ball in your hands.
Continue to roll the cookies this way until all your dough is gone. Â You should have around 4 dozen cookies.
Now you will want to put your cookie balls into a ziplock bag and pop them into the freezer for 30 minutes up to 3 months. Â That’s right… You can keep these in the freezer ready to bake when ever the craving for a warm, chewy, delicious chocolate chip cookie strikes. Â It also means you can prepare these for game day whenever you have the time instead of when you are in a time crunch the morning of.
Throw them in the oven preheated to 375 degrees F for 8-12 minutes until they are just browned around the edges. Â Let them cool for 2 minutes and then get ready for a real treat! The thickest, chewiest, ooeiest, gooiest chocolate chip cookies in the world!
There is just NOTHING like a hot, fresh, chewy chocolate chip cookie. Â Add Snicker’s Bites and I really think you have a small piece of heaven!!
Don’t forget to go grab your coupon for Snicker’s Bites here. Â Make sure you share it so the value will double (and your friends will thank you!!)
